Carat names former VivaKi investment director to head Woolies account

Carat Sydney has named former investment director at VivaKi, Georga Payne, to lead its Woolworths business as its head of investment.

The announcement:

Carat Sydney strengthens their senior investment team on key account Woolworths with the appointment of Georga Payne. Reporting to Ashley Earnshaw, Chief Investment Officer of Carat Australia, Payne’s new role is Head of Investment across the Woolworths account which is Carat’s largest client nationally.

Payne has over 16 years’ media experience, working previously as Investment Director at VivaKi and at ZenithOptimedia on the Telstra and Nestle accounts amongst other clients.

Ashley Earnshaw said, “Georga has a track record in investment and leadership that speaks for itself. Welcoming Georga into the business will further elevate Carat’s investment and implementation offering. We are very pleased to secure a person of Georga’s calibre and experience to work on the Woolworths business.”

Payne’s selection comes off the back of a number of high profile appointments to Carat Sydney over the past few months, including Leontine De Sutter as Head of Carat Connect and Lou Romeo as Head of Investment for the wider agency client group.

Payne’s appointment is effective immediately.
