Carat SA joins the clean energy transition movement with EnergyFlex appointment

Dentsu’s Carat SA is officially working with renewables education and energy analytics organisation, EnergyFlex, for its media operations.

On Friday, it was announced that Carat’s work with EnergyFlex will encapsulate media strategy and planning. As part of its remit, Carat will be collaborating with EnergyFlex’s agency partners, such as TBWA.

The appointment comes as EnergyFlex gears up to release a campaign – its first ever brand platform – that aims to demystify the transition around clean energy and make Australia ready to embrace it.

“At Carat, and dentsu more broadly, we are passionate about wanting to leave the world a better place and working with an exciting brand like EnergyFlex really delivers upon dentsu’s B2B2S philosophy which is all about creating work that is good for business, good for people and good for society,” said Adele Gibb, managing director of Carat SA.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for Australians to understand the positive impact of the renewable energy transition on their financial, community, and energy wellness,” explained Garry Harding, chief executive officer and co-founder of EnergyFlex.

Harding went on to reference his company’s energy management app – a tool the clean energy organisation released in May earlier this year that provides users with the ability to measure the renewable energy use of their household or business – and how EnergyFlex wants to make clean energy tools and knowledge accessible for all.

“Our free app teaches users how to align their energy habits with renewable energy in the grid, reducing their energy costs and carbon emissions, regardless of which energy retailer they’re with.

“Importantly, we want to make the tools and education available to as many Australian homes and businesses as possible, which is why we’re excited to partner with Carat SA, who can help us spread the word, raise awareness, and get Australia Renewables Ready.”

The EnergyFlex app can be downloaded onto Android and iOS devices for free.
