Carat wins commercial real estate specialists CBRE

Carat has won the media account for commercial real estate specialist CBRE after a competitive pitch.

The agency will take over the account from incumbent Metropolis in January.

Head of marketing for CBRE, Christine Callinan, said the appointment was based on a number of abilities the agency brought to the table.

“The CBRE business model is a unique one and not without complexity,” Callinan said.

“We needed an agency partner that could help deliver our centralised brand strategy, but also provide that on-ground service and support for our business partners in each market across the country.”

CBRE handles a broad range of properties including commercial, residential and retail.

Carat CEO Paul Brooks said the agency was well versed in handling the complexity of a national network with a diverse portfolio of services.

“We understand intimately the challenges and opportunities of a national network, particularly with the market’s current pace of change,” Brooks said.

“We’re committed to delivering CBRE the thinking and products required to ensure they continue to build on their already considerable success.”
