Carat wins Event Hospitality and Entertainment media account, including QT Hotels and Rydges

Dentsu Aegis Network’s Carat has won the media strategy, planning and buying responsibilities for Event Hospitality and Entertainment – the parent company behind QT Hotels, Rydges Hotels & Resorts, Event Cinemas, Moonlight Cinemas and Thredbo.

The appointment was a result of a pitch process as the group looked to consolidate its media duties with one agency.

The group includes Event Cinemas

Victoria Doidge, director of brand, strategy and communications at Event, said Carat’s data capabilities got the agency across the line.

“We were looking to consolidate our media efforts with a single agency partner able to plan and execute strategically across all channels. Carat was selected following a competitive pitch, with the agency’s data consultative capabilities a key differentiator to their success,” she said.
