Carsales appoints Tim Robson as B2B and trade content editor

Carsales has appointed Tim Robson as B2B and trade content editor.

The announcement:

Carsales has today announced the appointment of Tim Robson as B2B and Trade Content Editor.

Robson will head carsales Business Insights’ B2B content strategy and work to strengthen carsales engagement with key stakeholders, including dealers and OEMs.

Robson joins with more than 20 years of publication experience across a number of respected automotive titles, including senior positions at Wheels, Top Gear Australia and the industry outlet, GoAuto. He recently served as the PR and Communications Manager at MG Motor Australia and New Zealand.

“We’re very excited to welcome Tim to the carsales team. Content is a key channel via which we engage our business partners, whether they be dealers, brands or other adjacencies,” said carsales Director of Content and Editor-in-Chief, Mike Sinclair.

“Tim’s valuable experience across print and digital publishing aligns perfectly with our desire to change the game in this space. And his insight into the world of automotive OE will also lend weight and authority to his new role.”

With a career that parallels the rise of digital media and content, Robson is excited by his new role’s opportunities. Robson said: “The insights and resources that carsales has available for new car buyers, sellers and its industry partners are truly staggering. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in. The refinement of carsales’ B2B voice, upholding the standard of key stakeholder support and building both existing and new dealer and OEM relationships will be key to the success of my role.”

Residing in Wollongong, New South Wales, with his wife and family, Robson will take advantage of carsales’ innovative new hybrid working model.

Under its Autonomy to Choose initiative, carsales gives most employees the opportunity to be home, hybrid or office-based.
