Carsales offers second-hand car sellers personalised ads to promote their vehicles
Carsales has launched a campaign giving private second-hand car sellers the opportunity to have their own personalised ad in its new AutoAds campaign.
Developed by CHE Proximity and Guilty, the AutoAds campaign combines the seller’s car photos and details with a set of stock videos and scenes to create a unique ad that Carsales’ customers can share on their Facebook pages.
Each seller listing their car at Carsales will receive five 40-second ads themed around the topics of adventure, family, tough, luxury and city, each with its own background music. The clips merge the car’s name, type, price and odometer reading into the commercial.
“As the number one place in Australia to sell your car online, the campaign demonstrates Carsales’ unwavering commitment to helping Australians sell with confidence and ease,” Kellie Cordner, Carsales’ chief marketing officer, said.
Chief creative officer of CHE Proximity, Ant White said the creation of AutoAds was a collaboration between all those involved: “Tony Rogers and Guilty worked with the team’s dynamic script that had thousands of unique lines and nuances. The tech, data, design and production teams stitched it all together seamlessly with the smarts hidden in the background.”

Just so happens I am selling my car and thought I’d give this a go. Went through the listing process and it’s nowhere to be found! CHE -how does a punter actually do this or are you PRing an idea that only exists in the trade press and your future case studies? As a customer, I feel very mislead.
