Casefile True Crime holds top spot in first podcast ranker for 2022
Triton Digital has released the first podcast ranker results for 2021, with Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime taking out the top spot for January, despite posting no new episodes.
Hamish & Andy dropped to number four on the list, also without posting any new episodes across the month, while Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne from ARN/iHeartMedia jumped up to second spot after posting ten shows across the month.
According to Triton Digital, the podcast ranker provides insight into the Top 100 Podcasts as well as the Top 10 Publishers in Australia from 1 January through 31 January, 2022, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.
Top 10 podcasts for January 2022
Crime Junkie from Audiochuck/Stitcher debuted in the list at number eight, posting six new episodes with 297,298 listeners across the month. 2 Bears, 1 Cave with Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer from Stitcher also debuted in the list at number 37.
The top three publishers for the month were ARN/iHeartMedia, Stitcher and Audioboom.
