Cazbah Media launches magazine, Fodmapper, for people suffering from IBS

Cazbah Media, the publisher of Australian Gluten Free Life, is set to launch a new magazine for people suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

The new title, Fodmapper, will run bi-annually from April 19. It is the second edition of the magazine, following the popularity of a special edition created for Australian Gluten Free Life last year.

Each issue will contain more than 90 dietitian-approved low FODMAP [Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols] recipes, research and health tips to help readers reduce pain and improve wellbeing. It will sell for $14.99 across more than 3,000 newsagents as well as airports and train stations.

Cazbah Media owner and magazine editor, Cara Boatswain, said she had had a huge number of requests to produce a new issue.

“The response to the Fodmapper special edition last year was overwhelming,” Boatswain said.

“IBS can be debilitating and daunting. There were no mainstream publications dedicated to helping sufferers understand how to manage the condition and live a normal, pain-free life.

“Fodmapper is designed to do this and more. We want to raise awareness of IBS so that people no longer have to suffer in silence.”

The launch comes almost four years after the launch of Gluten Free Life.
