Celebrity Apprentice Boardroom tops entertainment but Seven wins Tuesday

Nine held the top rating entertainment program on Tuesday, with the Celebrity Apprentice Boardroom bringing in 657,000 metro viewers to be #1 among non-news and #7 overall.

That was after 594,000 metro viewers watched the full episode, with interest again spiking for the Boardroom as Lord Sugar fired Sydney designer Camilla Franks.

Nine won the single-channel share, but Seven was the top rating network on the night, holding the #1 program in Seven News with 1.142 million metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6.30 (1.088 million metro viewers) and Nine News (1.041 million metro viewers).

The performance of Seven News, along with The Chase Australia with 632,000 metro viewers, Home And Away with 607,000 metro viewers and Big Brother with 569,000 metro viewers helped Seven to a 27.3% network share.

That meant Nine had to settle for second with 26.7% ahead of Ten with 19.1% and the ABC with 18.8%.

As mentioned, Nine managed to take out the primary channel share stakes, with an 18.4% share placing it head of Seven’s 18.2%.

Among other entertainment programs, MasterChef Australia brought in 594,000 metro viewers for Ten, and Anh’s Brush With Fame aired to 542,000 metro viewers on the ABC.

The key advertising demos were split across three programs, with MasterChef Australia winning 16-39, while Big Brother won 18-49 and Seven News took 25-54.

The top rating multi-channel on Monday was 10 Bold with a 3.9% audience share.
