Channelzero acquires video content agency to diversify offering

The Marketing Group’s creative agency Channelzero has completed an acquisition of video content and strategic provider, The Content Agency.

As part of the acquisition, Channelzero will extend its video content capabilities and client roster, and will help grow of The Marketing Group’s position in major markets like Australia.channelzero

The Marketing Group acquired The Content Agency for €106,500 which will be paid in the value of 59,497 shares.

Creative work by The Content Agency includes videos for brands including Studio Canal, Study Adelaide, University of Technology Sydney, Universal Music Group and BBC Worldwide.

Channelzero’s new acquisition will give the agency access to expertise in user data generation as well as strategies for audience engagement.

Commenting on the acquisition, Mikey Taylor, CEO at Channelzero said the company will now be able to service clients’ demands in-house.

“We have seen increasing demand from our existing clients for recurring video production work and with this acquisition we are now able to service this demand in-house, adding a capability of growing importance to our business,” Taylor said.

Adam Graham, CEO of The Marketing Group said the “strategic acquisition” would strengthen the Group’s presence in Australia.

Channelzero currently works with brands including Gloria Jean’s, Nescafe and Weet-bix.
