Chris Bath to depart Seven News
The Seven Network has announced the departure of veteran journalist and newsreader Chris Bath.
Bath “stepped back” from the nightly bulletins in 2014 with the network saying she would concentrate on Sunday Night and was replaced by Mark Ferguson.
Melissa Doyle will now replace Bath on the Friday and Saturday news bulletins.

Melissa Doyle has no personality and tries so desperately to be Miss Sweet. She may have undergone a makeover physically, but as a credible journalist does not make the grade. Chris will be strongly missed. I will no longer be watching the Sunday Night program.
Chris Bath is a fabulous journalist, and has done an awesome job fronting weekend news and Sunday Night on the Seven Network; it is a big loss for the Network.
