Clemenger BBDO Melbourne adds specialised content offering with Jess Langley and Stuart Shepherd

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has launched a specialised content offering, Clemenger Studios.

Jess Langley has been appointed executive content director to lead the team alongside Stuart Shepherd, who adds executive creative director responsibilities in the team to his role at Clemenger Group’s Redhanded Creative.

Langley has ten years’ experience in the media and film industry, most recently at Kojo and also serving as executive producer of Vice Australia. Shepherd has been with the Clemenger Group for the past six years, and last year took on the additional role of non-executive director of its public relations agency Porter Novelli.

The new team was developed in response to increased client demand for high quality content designed specifically for owned and social media channels, and carries production capabilities from high-end content through to rapid direct-to-studio projects.

“Clemenger Studios is an important complement to our existing high-end production offer,” said Clemenger BBDO Melbourne group CEO Jim Gall.

“Content, in all its forms, needn’t be relegated to fast, cheap and low quality. Our new offering provides quality work at a speed and price that passes the value test, all underpinned by the creative DNA of one of the world’s leading creative companies.”

“We firmly believe that content has a greater role to play in generating returns for our clients, particularly when it’s strategically sound and crafted with the care it deserves, which is why we’ve invested in these capabilities, in the caliber of talent and in the technology that sits behind it all to drive greater efficiencies.”

Leigh Arbon has also joined the team as planning director from TBWA Singapore, where he built out the agency’s social and content offering. Arbon spent eight years with TBWA, also working in Melbourne and New York.

Lucy Williams has joined the team as producer from Visual Domain, content creative Thomas Pollard brings his ten years of filmmaking to the team, and Daniel Navarro has joined as motion graphics specialist from Ten.

Gall added: “I’m thrilled to have the team on board and seeing them already creating significant impact for our clients and for the broader Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Group.”
