Colenso BBDO to handle Michael Hill’s new global brand strategy

Screen Shot 2013-11-28 at 12.58.27 PMJeweller Michael Hill has appointed Colenso BBDO to develop the company’s new global brand strategy, a first for the company which has most recently handled its creative business inhouse.

The Auckland-based agency will initially develop a brand campaign to be rolled out across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the US.

The agency was chosen following a worldwide search facilitated by Peter McDonald of Pitch Perfect Advisors.

Michael Hill’s Australian creative business was handled by McCann before being taken inhouse at the end of 2011.
