Coles 360 appoints former Bega GM as head of partnerships

Coles 360 has appointed Bridie Cowell as its new head of partnerships.

Cowell was previously Bega’s general manager of retail marketing and eCommerce, where she was responsible for delivering omni-channel plans across retail marketing, ecommerce, and digital. She’ll take over from former head of partnerships Tom Small, who has taken on the CCO position at Retail Media Works.

“Bridie is the perfect person to support the next phase of our growth journey and lead our partnerships team,” said Coles 360 general manager Paul Brooks.

“From the outset, Coles 360 has actively taken a partnership approach, working closely with supplier partners to shape their retail media network. Bridie deeply understands what the suppliers want, having faced into the business for a long time. There’s no better person to help guide how we partner with suppliers moving forward.

“Bridie also brings extensive experience in eCommerce & digital that will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen this critical part of our offering.”

Cowell said of her new role: “What a privilege it is to join the Coles 360 team. I look forward to collaborating with suppliers on data-led solutions that not only connect their brands with Coles shoppers, but fuel discovery, inspiration and ultimately demand generation.

“Whilst the industry is rapidly evolving, the principles of best-in-class media still hold true. Keep the customer and their experience at the heart of your strategy, and you’ll be well placed to nurture their loyalty and deliver strong business results.”
