Commonwealth Games effect continues to boost Freeview
Tuesday saw a second big weeknight in a row for the Freeview channels thanks in part to Ten’s simulcast Commonwealth Games coverage on sister channel One.
After Monday’s 19.3% share, the digital channels took an even bigger bite of viewing, with 19.5% of free to air viewers opting for the secondary options.
A combined audience across Ten and One of 1.22 million viewers watched Leiston Pickett win gold in the women’s 50m breaststroke.
Seven won the night with Packed To The Rafters top show according to preliminary overnight metro figures from OzTam.
SBS1 was relegated to seventh place.
