Country Style magazine launches awards to celebrate 30th anniversary
Bauer’s Country Style magazine is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the launch of the Country Style awards.

Country Style magazine celebrated its 30th birthday last night with an inaugural Country Style Ball held at Carriageworks in Sydney’s Eveleigh. To mark this significant milestone, Country Style also launched its first-ever Country Style Awards.
From producers and artisans to tour operators and pilots, the magazine shortlisted 30 inspiring people making a big difference in rural Australia. The awards consisted of five key categories including People, Travel, Entertainment, Home & Design and Fashion, recognising them for their innovation, hard work and dedication.
“For our 30th birthday, we wanted to acknowledge our readers and give them the recognition they deserve. Regional Australia is full of amazing people doing wonderful things and we are thrilled to celebrate our 30 nominees and bring them to a national stage,” said Country Style editor, Victoria Carey.

Pip Smith, sheep farmer and co-founder of LoveMerino
People and People’s Choice Award
Charlie Arnott, regenerative and biodynamic farmer and food producer from BoorowaThe People’s Choice Award was open to the Country Style readers to cast their votes for their favourite and most inspiring nominee. The winner Charlie Arnott from Boorowa has been voted as the winner with Pip Smith not far behind.
“We are very excited for Australia to discover the hidden gems of the country and show the true potential of these little towns. On behalf of Country Style, I’d like to congratulate all the nominees as well as the winners for our first ever Country Style Awards,” said Ms Carey.
