Cross-cultural agency Doq celebrates 10 years

Cross-cultural agency Doq celebrated its 10th anniversary last week.

The announcement:

On Thursday night doq Pty Ltd celebrated its tenth anniversary.

To mark the occasion, doq hosted an event with client and industry partners to celebrate ten years of collaboration at their Sydney headquarters at the heritage waterfront landmark, Jones Bay Wharf.

With over 100 people in attendance, doq took the opportunity to thank all of their clients and various representatives from Australia’s marketing industry for their continued support.

Embracing the theme “better together” the celebration featured an onsite sushi chef preparing original “doq” rolls, ikebana fusion and a Rakugo performance by bilingual entertainer, Jarrod Hoare.

Speaking about the company’s milestone, Founder and Group Managing Director of doq, Yoshinori Sakuno said: “It’s been a wonderful ten years producing many successful campaigns. We have built a fantastic team that clients can trust as members of their own staff and a media company that can accomplish more than promises thanks to our industry vendors that support us at any given time.

“The next decade will bring a period of further change as doq continues to build stronger connections and work more intimately with companies that want to build their international presence.”

In addition to opening their new office designed by KOKUYO earlier this year, doq also launched its cross-cultural working space, doq 89, for anyone seeking the unique benefits of working in a cross-cultural environment.

doq’s office location at Jones Bay Wharf is a continued reflection of its mission as a docking hub that builds connections of culture and ideas between Australia and Japan.
