CumminsRoss opens in Adelaide

CumminsRoss, one of Australia’s fastest growing agencies, has opened for business in Adelaide.

The agency will be run by Bronwen Gwynn-Jones, who joins from Jigsaw Media Solutions as founding partner and a shareholder in the business.

Like the Melbourne founding agency, CumminsRoss Adelaide will be full service, including media planning and buying and digital production.

The agency plans to officially open on 1 February.

In a statement, Gwynn-Jones said: “This agency will be owned by South Australians but will have a focus on creating world-class work. I watched how Sean Cummins brought the Brisbane agency scene to life with his last agency and the quality of thinking like the ‘Best Job in the world’ campaign for Queensland Tourism. We have the clients and the talent here to match those achievements. And it’s time for a fresh voice in the market.”

CumminsRoss boss Sean Cummins, commented: “Several years ago I pitched for a piece of South Australian business. It gave me the opportunity to see a lot of South Australia, meet some great people and really get to know the state a lot better. And while we were unsuccessful as the client stayed with their incumbent agency, I got a wonderful insight into the quality and character of the state. So much so we have a strong core of South Australians working at CumminsRoss here in Victoria.”

The one year-old agency has also forged a strategic alliance in the Northern Territory with Darwin-based design agency Sprout Creative. Among CumminsRoss’s NT clients is Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.
