CumminsRoss wins Carsguide.com.au, headcount rises to 34

CumminsRoss has won the creative and strategy account of Carsguide.com.au after a competitive pitch.

The news comes after Carsguide.com.au forged a joint venture with 35 car dealerships to mount a challenge to market leader Carsales.com.au.

Head of marketing, Tracey Cannon said: “CumminsRoss brings a huge depth of experience in the automotive, digital and media landscape and we are really excited to be working together on making the Carsguide.com.au brand an industry powerhouse”.

CumminsRoss – rated by The Agency Registry to be the fast-growing agency in Australia currently – recently added three new staff on the back of new business win including Fonterra, Chrysler and Deakin University, taking total the headcount to 34.

The hires included Georgina Pownall, who joined from The Conscience Organisation as group account director to run Fonterra, which CumminsRoss picked up in July.

In August, the agency added nine more staff, taking the headcount to 22.
