Dancing With The Stars hits 1.6m

Seven’s Dancing With The Stars had a strong second outing, stretching last week’s lead over Ten’s Masterchef and moving above 1.6m viewers on Sunday night.

The show – fueled by controversy over rude judges – averaged 1.606m viewers, ahead of 1.409m for Masterchef, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Meanwhile, SBS1 had one of its best nights of the year with 503,000 tuning in for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
