Deadline looms for the Australia Great Place to Work study

The deadline is looming to nominate your company for the Australia Great Place to Work study, with entries closing on June 1.

The announcement:

If you work in a great place, there’s still time to give it the recognition it deserves. But you’ll need to be quick because entries to the Australia’s Great Place to Work 2015 Best Places to Work Study close June 1.

Now in it’s 7th year, Great Place To Work has shown that creating a great workplace can produce superior business performance. Companies that earn a spot on the 2015 Australia’s 50 Best Place to Work list will receive substantial positive publicity and enhanced employer brand value.

Great places to work also experience up to 30% lower absenteeism rates, attract and retain higher calibre employees and significantly less employee turnover. They also consistently outperform major stock indices by 300%, according to independent financial analysis.

The Australian Great Place To Work® Best Companies List aims to identify, recognise, learn from, and spread the word about best practices of organisations that achieve business objectives by being great workplaces.

The top 5 in 2014 included in order of rank: Atlassian, Optiver, Salesforce Australia, Universal McCann Media and MECCA.

Registering your workplace is easy. If your company has 35 or more employees and has been in business for a minimum of 2 years, simply visit www.greatplacetowork.com.au and fill in the registration form – a Great Place toWork team member will follow up to assist you through the process.

Inclusion on the 2015 list of Best Places to Work is based on data gathered from employee surveys, organisational culture, programs and policies and measured against Great Place To Work’s global, standardised Great Place to Work® Model©.

A prestigious BRW gala event to celebrate those workplaces that make the list will be held at the Ivy Ballroom on September 1, 2015 and is one of the most talked about events in the year’s corporate calendar.
