Deliveroo appoints Frank PR to its consumer PR account

Public relations agency Frank PR has been appointed to food delivery service, Deliveroo’s, consumer PR account following a competitive pitch.

The appointment will see Frank PR handle the brand’s consumer PR requirements across Australia, including media and influencer relations and content creation.

Rachael Anderson, head of consumer comms APAC and Middle East for Deliveroo, said: “[Frank PR] demonstrated a solid understanding of the business, the brief and the landscape, as well as a real passion for the brand.

“We’re gearing up for a big year of growth, as we expand our footprint, plus offer new initiatives that are set to provide further benefits to our customer community. We’re really looking forward to delivering some exciting campaigns around these in partnership with Frank PR down under,” Anderson said.

Deliveroo launched in Australia in 2015 and recently expanded into both Adelaide and Canberra with the help of Frank PR.

Polly Atherton, managing director of Frank PR, said: “We’re a bunch of foodies at Frank, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Deliveroo, a brand that doesn’t shy away from doing things differently.

“Winning such an innovative and rapidly-growing brand is certainly an exciting start to 2017.”

Other clients of Frank PR include: BlackBerry, Veet, Durex, Singapore Tourism Board, Jack Daniel’s, Vanish, 20th Century Fox and Fiji Airways.
