Dentsu Mitchell has appointed Sylvia Pickering as client service director for its Victorian Government team.

Dentsu Mitchell appoints Sylvia Pickering to Victorian Government team
Dentsu Mitchell has expanded its Victorian Government team, appointing Sylvia Pickering as Client Service Director.
Sylvia will work across a range of key clients within the Victorian Government portfolio, including Visit Victoria, Zoos Victoria, Creative Victoria along with the Arts entities including the National Gallery of Victoria and the Arts Centre.
Sylvia joined the Dentsu Aegis Network in 2010 starting out in emitch, the digital media agency of the group that later merged into the Dentsu Mitchell brand.
Since then, Sylvia played a key role in the establishment of Amnet, an industry-first programmatic trading desk and subsidiary of Dentsu Aegis Network. In 2012, Sylvia joined Dentsu Mitchell as Digital Director where she developed a digitally-led strategy for
Renault Australia.
As Client Service Director, Sylvia will lead the digital team working closely with Communications Design Government Lead Eaon Pritchard who joined the agency earlier this year.
General Manager of Dentsu Mitchell John Thompson said, “We believe Sylvia’s expertise in digital will be an asset to our services for the Victorian Government, adding to the existing skillset of our media team to provide improved strategic recommendations for our clients.”
Sylvia Pickering said, “I’m excited to be joining the Victorian Government team and working closely with Eaon to deliver strategically-sound and innovative communication solutions.”
Sylvia’s role is effective immediately.
