Over her career, she has worked with brands including Honda, Bonds, Nintendo, Peters, 7-Eleven, Virgin, Emirates and Marriage Equality. McGregor was most recently the executive creative director at Communicado.

McGregor is a founding member of The Aunties, a mentoring and events program for women in the creative industries. Her work has also been recognised around the world at top tier creative shows including Cannes Lions, Clios and One Show, as well as effectiveness shows, including the Effies.

Tesoriero said: “This is such an exciting hire for the dentsu team. Sarah’s reputation and connection to the creative community will be a priceless advantage for our Melbourne office and wider ANZ offering. She’s an incredible brand builder so I can’t wait for the rubber to hit the road.”

McGregor adds: “I am thrilled to be reunited with Kirsty and can’t wait to start collaborating with Marcus and the incredible new team that has assembled at dentsu. The breadth of offerings under one roof here is truly exciting – it feels like the opportunities for brands and creativity are endless”

A builder of young talent, McGregor was Victorian head of award school for three years and now serves on the MADC Committee as director of MADC Presents and on The RMIT Professional Advisory Committee.

Kirsty Muddle, dentsu Creative CEO Australia and NZ concluded: “Sarah’s work is good for brands, good for business and good for society. Not only is she talented, but she uses those talents to build and develop people like never before. I’m looking forward to working with her again after her two years in a successful and growing independent agency.”
