Designers go at SapientNitro Australia
Two graphic designers and a front-end developer have been made redundant at creative agency SapientNitro.
Paul Bennett, national managing director of SapientNitro Australia, said the positions were outdated and efforts were made to help the three staff find positions in the agency.
He told Mumbrella: “It wasn’t fair to keep the positions around as they weren’t being utilised fully any more.
“While we made every effort to keep them in the company, ultimately there wasn’t any positions for them. We also had two staff members resign late last week as we were making this decision.
“It has been a difficult week dealing with the changes to the structure of the organisation, but we are attributing the resignation of those two staff to natural attrition and plan to replace them.”
