DGM wins new business, appoints head of SEO

Search marketing firm DGM has hired James Kemp as head of SEO and has announced a number of new business wins.

The announcement:

SYDNEY, 24 AUGUST 2011: Accor Hotels, Eles Cosmetics and Pevonia have all signed on as SEO clients at dgm, which has also appointed a new Head of SEO.

James Kemp has all-round experience in online marketing, including both paid and organic search, online display advertising, social media campaigns and social listening.

“James’s breadth of experience makes him a good strategist, as he can see how SEO fits with a brand’s other marketing activities both on and offline,” said John Matthews, general manager of dgm.

“This is one of the reasons we are so pleased to have James on the team, as we look beyond the singular discipline to add value to our clients’ marketing across the board.”

Kemp has conducted SEO on leading Australian brands including Bankwest, Allianz and Yellow Pages.

He also has web development experience, which adds another dimension to effective SEO, with a comprehensive knowledge of what a website requires to obtain and maintain high natural search engine rankings.
