Digital agency Campbell Media Group rebrands to Claxon

Digital agency Campbell Media Group has rebranded to Claxon.

The new name, Claxon, was selected in reference to an electric horn in a vehicle, relating to the company’s new tagline ‘Be Heard’, co-founders Brett Campbell and Daniel Willis said.

The new branding was also inspired by the company’s self-stated promise to deliver campaigns to clients that cut through the noise.

Willis said in a statement: “Our approach to digital performance is akin to day-to-day trading on the stock market, except we’re live trading for consumer attention. This is in stark contrast to the industry norm ‘set and forget’ campaign management ethos, but marks an exciting time for the industry.”

He also believes that the agency’s independent status facilitated global growth into the UK, US and New Zealand that prompted the rebrand.

Campbell stated that the campaign growth opportunities offered by the agency also enabled it to become recognised by brands.

“Claxon takes a serious and data-driven digital approach to campaign creation and management and we are relentless in our focus on driving both quantifiable and attributable revenue growth for brands. We believe the measurable performance that we deliver for clients is best in class – globally,” Campbell said.

Claxon’s clients currently include Porter Davis Homes, Prospa, Nimble, Wyndham, Accor and Snap Fitness.

The rebrand will take effect immediately.
