Dijgtal announces Canadian expansion, led by News Corp Australia alumni Adam Natiq

Sydney-based digital design and innovation agency, Dijgtal, has announced its expansion into Vancouver, Canada in 2020.

The new office will be led by Adam Natiq, who was previously the business development director at News Corp Australia.

Adam Natiq will lead Dijgtal’s Canadian venture

Prior to News Corp, Natiq was the national head of sales for Com Score Inc ANZ, and spent four years at Innovid, leaving as country manager ANZ.

Natiq said of his appointment: “After a brief consulting engagement, I fell in love with Dijgtal’s culture and methodology to solving complex problems. This organisation’s approach to creating success for their partners is unlike any other I’ve seen. The mutual trust created in this building was a powerful motivator for me to join, and I’m looking forward to replicating that DNA and success in North America.”

Managing partner and co-founder, Mark Nickson, said he was proud to be expanding the business.

“I’m proud to be further building out our North American footprint, and especially excited to be doing so in my old stomping ground of Vancouver. Appointing Adam is a testament to the seriousness of our growth strategy, and the importance of aligning ourselves with the right people to achieve our 2020 goals. Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that I know will be welcomed by the local Canucks, and I’m confident he’ll forge out a new and exciting pathway for Dijgtal across both Canada and the US,” Nickson said.

Ross Churchill, managing partner and co-founder, added: “We are fortunate to be able to bring in Adam to lead our expansion into North America. His many years in the agency and corporate world will support this significant and challenging task. With him on the team, I know we’re putting our best foot forward to deliver a true Dijgtal agency experience in Vancouver.”

Earlier this year, the agency hired James David as director of innovation and brand experience and Tania Di Stefano as content and communications strategist.
