Disney+ Star launch caters to all, even zombies

Zombies feeling left out from Disney+’s entertainment brand, Star, nearly reach the point of demonstrating against the streaming service before realising at the last minute it really does have something for everyone.

The campaign, from Special Group, is drawing attention to the new brand available on Disney+ which has available a collection of movies, television, documentaries from Disney’s library of content as well as Star-branded exclusive originals and local productions.

A Disney+ spokesperson told Mumbrella: “Disney’s brand campaign to celebrate the launch of Star on Disney+ communicates the breadth and depth of the new general entertainment offering through a local, humorous lens.

“Bigger, bolder and braver, Star bolsters Disney+’s already incredible offering with more adult TV series and movies, sitting beside all the other Disney brands you know and love. From comedies to dramas and thrillers, Star offers a range of titles for everyone and every mood. Bringing a new collection of renowned general entertainment series, movies, documentaries, and more that will double the content catalogue available to Disney+ subscribers.”

The campaign film is airing on TV, with further executions rolling out over the coming weeks on multiple platforms.

Star launched on Disney+ on 23 February.
