DJs Mashd N Kutcher mix up the Sounds of Subway for next instalment of ‘Eat Well Go’ campaign

DJs Mashd N Kutcher have remixed sounds recorded in a Subway stores into a track as the second installment of the sandwich chain’s ‘Eat Well Go’ influencer campaign.

The duo took recording equipment into six stores in Brisbane and captured noises from the ice machine to the beeping of the oven, as well as the staff talking to customers, before remixing them into a piece called ‘Sounds of Subway’.

It is the second of six influencer pieces being rolled out for Subway and created by agency Emotive as part of the campaign.

MNK have amassed more than 815,000 fans across social media. Their clip ‘When You Troll The Entire Crowd’ in which they recorded the audience’s reaction when they cut the EDM they were playing and put on Spandau Ballet’s ‘True’ midway through a set has had nearly 10m views in a month on their YouTube channel.

Subway’s campaign kicked off last week with a video by basketball trickshot experts How Ridiculous playing on the huge satellite at the CSIRO facility at the Parkes Observatory in NSW, which has had 124,000 views so far.

The campaign is targeting a male-skewed audience, with influencers over the next month spanning auto, gaming and travel.

Content is seeded by the influencers with Subway set to put up a highlights package on its own YouTube channel after the final one has gone live.
