Dmarge launches e-commerce platform The Dmarge Shop

Australian men’s website Dmarge has launched an e-commerce platform, The Dmarge Shop.

The announcement:

This week, Australian men’s website Dmarge expanded its offering by launching its e-commerce platform. Content to commerce is here and will continue to be a major strategy for the business as we build its first party data and advanced audience insights offering in preparation for a post cookie world.

A recent DMARGE reader survey conducted by Nature Research showed 71% of Dmarge readers were now shopping online frequently, this was up from 55% from our previous study.

“We’ve seen strong growth in content to commerce over the past 24 months, partly amplified by the pandemic but generally becoming more frequent. Interestingly, buying on mobile devices has been the biggest surprise, jumping from 25% of sales to over 60% of all transactions,” says Dmarge Founder Luc Wiesman.

Our research shows that 98% of readers would sooner go online to ask for advice than ask a friend. The same applies when shopping for themselves or others. In short, most have no idea, instead they rely on publishers like Dmarge to make purchase decisions.

To help make these decisions easier, Dmarge has launched The Dmarge Shop, a curated selection of unique products for the man who has everything or the man who has no idea.

The DMARGE Shop has launched with a curated selection of limited edition photographic prints showcasing history’s most iconic moments. Dmarge spent six months curating the selection of
rare photos from libraries and archives around the world. The first collection features previously unseen imagery of athletes, actors, rockstars, motor racing legends and even behind the scenes moments from iconic James Bond films.

This is just a fraction of products to be offered on The Dmarge Shop. Our goal is to only stock ‘objects that start conversations’. New releases are planned monthly and the platform will be utilised as a fast method to go-to market for brands to collaborate with Dmarge.

The Dmarge Shop is live now and shipping.
