DMG Radio has partnered with fruit, vegetable product company Golden Circle to support junior level sports.

The announcement:

dmg Radio Australia announced a partnership with Golden Circle to support grass roots level sports through a new initiative Nova’s Club Kick-In from Monday 20 June.

Nova’s Club Kick-In supports the passion and important role junior sporting clubs play in children’s lives and our communities. The initiative is aimed at nurturing the thousands of grass roots junior sports clubs across Australia.

Nova and Golden Circle will provide a $10,000 grant to the winning sporting club from any State (NSW, VIC, SA, NSW or QLD) or sporting code. Clubs register on line at www.clubkickin.com.au and are provided with further details about the competition.

Nova’s Club Kick-In will be promoted on air and on line nationally on Nova and experimental activation with product sampling and awards at sporting clubs through Ooh! Media.

Grayson Cook, Golden Circle Brand Manager said, “We’re excited to be involved in this program providing junior sporting clubs around the country with the opportunity to get their hands on some much needed equipment. We’ll be bringing Aussie sports stars to the clubs to run clinics and speak to kids and parents about the importance of keeping active and hydrated.”

Mohit Bhargava, dmg Radio Australia’s Digital Product Manager said, “Club Kick-In talks to over 30,000 sporting clubs registered across Australia. A central digital platform, coupled with the right mix of above the line and below the line support, gives it the ideal scale and activation. While Club Kick-In champions grass roots sport, its origins live in Nova’s brand values of localism and supporting the underdog.”

Every Saturday for a three week period, the Electrolyte Brigade will turn up at a number of suburban sporting matches Australia wide to present the Golden Circle Most Valuable Player award to the stand out player at each match and to hand out the new Golden Circle Sports Cordial.

Clubs are encouraged to promote their involvement in the competition to members, families, friends and local schools and businesses to assist with collecting Golden Circle Sports Cordial bottles.

The Top 10 clubs with the most Golden Circle Sports Cordial bottles will go into the running to win the $10,000 grant. The finalists will record video diaries at clubkickin.com.au and will be profiled on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa national weekend breakfast show.

Jenny Parkes, dmg Radio Australia’s Group Sales Director said, “Club Kick-In highlights dmg Radio Australia’s commitment to deliver on ideas and seamless cross platform solutions. It is a great example of an exciting campaign we have developed and tailored to meet Golden Circle’s strategic objectives.”
