Domino’s chooses ANZ PR partner following pitch

Domino’s has chosen a new PR agency partner in Australia and New Zealand following a competitive pitch process, Mumbrella can reveal.

Sling & Stone has been appointed, tasked with amplifying product launches, occasions, and creative communications, ensuring it remains a leading pizza brand in a competitive quick service restaurant (QSR) market.

It is the first time the pizza brand has partnered with an external brand. Prior to this, Domino’s PR was handled in-house. It is understood the in-house team will work closely with Sling & Stone.

“Sling & Stone’s expertise with dynamic challenger brands, combined with their creativity, passion, and understanding of our unique brand communications, makes them the perfect ‘topping’ for our exceptional in-house PR team,” Rhiannon Frater, Domino’s APAC chief communications and corporate affairs officer, told Mumbrella.

Kasi Talbot, global head of consumer at the agency, said Sling & Stone is “extremely proud” to add Domino’s to its growing client roster.

“Together we’ll be delivering trend-forward, fast-paced work that consumers love – just like a Domino’s pizza,” she said.

“After more than 40 years in Australia, Domino’s refuses to rest on its laurels and continues to reinvent and challenge the major QSR chains, making them a perfect fit for our agency.”

Sling & Stone’s food and beverage portfolio also includes Krispy Kreme, Darrell Lea, Lifesavers and Waterdrop, among others.

Its wider client roster also includes Boody, Stake, Nourish Ingredients, and Exceptional ALIEN.
