Domino’s to roll-out Mandoe digital menu boards and customer wifi as part of new partnership
Interactive digital technology provider Mandoe is partnering with Domino’s to deliver digital menu boards, customer wifi and on-screen entertainment throughout all Domino’s stores in Australia and New Zealand.
Speaking with Mumbrella, Mandoe managing director, David Thorn: “Dominos are big on technology and interacting with their customers to get out the best quality service they possibly can, and that’s what we see from their online ordering, their GPS driver-tracking through to their in-store experience.
“We’ve been working with Domino’s for about a year-and-a-half now to provide in-store wifi to their customers and digital menu boards so they can provide customisation and advertising at a store level and a State-based level.”
The roll-out of Mandoe technology is part of Domino’s digital strategy which includes online ordering, favourite pizza apps, faster delivery and ‘driver tracking’ technology.
Allan Collins, Domino’s group chief marketing officer, said: “Our partnership with Mandoe is strategically important and a major pillar in the in-store customer digital experience, we now have the ability to further interact with our customers, ensuring a consistent experience in their personalised interactions with our team members and our brand.”
Thorn said this digital technology is “absolutely” the future of retail marketing.
“If you can interact with your customers and you can gain their feedback – for example, if a campaign is working really well in NSW but not in Queensland, you can start to ask questions,” he said.
“Beforehand retailers weren’t able to gather that information as readily, now with digital technology you can prove that out with real-time analytics.”
