Donna Hay Magazine to celebrate ten years of publishing with iPad app launch

News Magazines will this month celebrate 10-years of publishing the cooking title Donna Hay Magazine with the launch of an iPad app.

This October, News Magazines proudly celebrates 10 years of donna hay magazine with a special collector’s issue featuring the most beautiful and inspiring stories yet.

News Magazines Chief Executive Sandra Hook said donna hay magazine had quickly become an iconic brand in its 10 short year publishing history and would celebrate this milestone with an exciting step into digital publishing with an innovative and interactive iPad edition.

“Everything Donna and the talented donna hay magazine team touch is of exceptional quality and beauty and this is an issue you’ll want to eat from cover to cover. The birthday issue is the biggest ever outside of a Christmas period and has attracted more advertising revenue proving yet again the enormous strength of the brand.”

Gracing the cover is our ultimate chocolate layer cake, which opens to reveal a decadent interior – light-as-air chocolate sponge layered with tangysweet cream cheese icing.

Content for the collector’s issue takes a nostalgic nod and a new approach to some of the favourite recipes of the magazine team. From the ultimate weeknight dinners to a new take on the classic chocolate brownie and a shake-up of old standbys with a tasty revamp, this is an issue you’ll want to hang on to. The magazine also features a compilation of the most decadent cake recipes, befitting of such a special celebration.

In partnership with News Magazines, Donna’s 10-year birthday with her eponymous magazine also marks 10 years as the contributing food editor for the Sunday newspapers across the News Limited stable. This is celebrated with a special flip cover and sneak preview of the 10th birthday issue in Sunday Magazine.

As well, this October also sees the launch of the donna hay magazine for iPad app. Packed full of immersive content, special videos and extra tips, it brings the pages of the magazine to life like never before. The first issue is free to download thanks to our presenting partner, Destination NSW.
