Doug Johns to lead PPR technology team
Doug Johns has been promoted to the role of group director, technology at Professional Public Relations Sydney.

Professional Public Relations (PPR) has appointed Doug Johns to the role of Group Director, Technology in its Sydney office
Doug Johns will lead the PPR team of experienced technology PR consultants on global technology and consumer gaming brands including Dell and a recent high profile entertainment industry banner client, which recently appointed PPR to support all of its technology and consumer products.
For the past two years Doug Johns was Account Director within the PPR Technology practice. He brings more than 17 years experience in the technology and gaming sectors to his new role.
Originally from the UK, Mr Johns founded his own PR consultancy and for 10 years worked on a wide range of brands including Star Wars, Disney, Jackass and various film licences. Before setting up his own consultancy, Mr Johns also held senior positions with Virgin’s gaming arm, Virgin Interactive, and also Hewland International.
Sally Haysom, PPR Sydney General Manager, welcomed the appointment.
