Em Rusciano tells listeners: I’m not sure I’m ready but I’ll be back on Monday and we’ll figure it out together
Em Rusciano will return to Sydney breakfast radio on Monday, the 2Day FM presenter has tonight told her followers.
The singer, comedian and presenter stepped away from broadcasting and social media last month after losing the baby son she had been expecting.
Rusciano: Said 2Day FM team has supported her decision
In tonight’s post on Facebook, she told supporters: “Thank you very much for all your love and kind words over the past couple of weeks. I’ll be going back to work on Monday, I’m not sure if I’m ready but I can’t rattle around the house anymore and I’m better when I’m busy.”
Rusciano first took the helm of the Em Rusciano With Harley Breen show in January.
Weeknights presenter Ash London has been sitting in on the show while Rusciano coped with the early stages of her bereavement.
Her public sharing of what she was going through has drawn widespread public praise for her courage in speaking out about a situation faced by many others.
Ruciano told her followers: “Hear you all Monday morning on Sydney’s 104.1 2DayFM, just come on the ride, I don’t know what’s going to come out, we’ll figure it out together.”
