Energizer rescues old toys in charity campaign

Energizer Australia has launched a campaign called “Toy Rescue”.

The campaign aims to collect and bring back to life battery-powered toys and donate them to families and children in need.

Omnicom agencies Tequila, Integer and PR agency Eleven PR are working with Energizer on the integrated social campaign in partnership with charity client Mission Australia.

The campaign uses lifeguards from Ten’s Bondi Rescue Dean “Deano” Gladstone, Bruce “Hoppo” Hopkins and Anthony “Harries” Carroll as campaign ambassadors.

The trio will be traveling to schools in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in a “Toy Rescue” van to salvage the toys. The campaign’s Facebook page will carry videos and toy collection and drop off information.
