Enero appoints 10Viacom CBS talent as new CFO

Enero Group has announced the appointment of Carla Webb-Sear as its new chief financial officer effective today.

Webb-Sear joins the Enero Group from Channel 10/Viacom CBS where she held the CFO role for more than two years. Channel 10/Viacom CBS has appointed Natasha Coxhead to fill the role. Coxhead was director of financial reporting and control at ITV in London previously.

Webb-Seat spent 11 years with Fairfax Media in a variety of senior financial roles and has also worked at PwC in Australia, the UK and the US. She replaces Brendan York who had not yet disclosed where he is moving to.

Enero Group CEO, Brent Scrimshaw, said of the appointment: “I am thrilled that Carla is joining the executive team of Enero Group. She brings extensive international and local experience as a commercially astute CFO with deep expertise in entertainment, media and online transaction businesses in both ASX and NASDAQ/NYSE listed companies. Her experience will be tremendously advantageous for the group and our future aspirations.”

Webb-Sear, who will report to Scrimshaw, said: “I am very excited to be joining Enero Group at this important time in its history and look forward to working with the board and executive team in accelerating the group’s global growth strategy.”

Scrimshaw added: “I would also like to thank Brendan York for his outstanding contribution to the company and look forward to continuing to work with him as we manage a smooth transition and handover to Carla.”

In the recent half-year results for the, Enero Group, which core agency brands include BMF, Hotwire and Orchard, reported a net revenue of $81 million, up 19% on the prior reporting period.
