Esther Faith Lew Joins LBB as APAC Editor, following hire of Toby Hemming as APAC MD

Little Black Book (LBB) has announced the appointment of Esther Faith Lew as Asia Pacific editor, following the appointment of Toby Hemming as managing director, APAC.

The announcement:

Global data driven communication platform for the creative industries Little Black Book (LBB), today announces the appointment of Esther Faith Lew as Asia Pacific editor. The hire swiftly follows the announcement of LBB’s on-the ground expansion in the region which rolled out with the appointment of Toby Hemming as managing director, APAC in May 2022.

Based in Singapore, Esther has over 25 years experience in corporate/marketing communications as well as advertising and lifestyle/trade journalism. Prior to joining LBB, Esther was senior editor at Northstar Travel and has spent over 13 years of her career in news writing, creative writing, sub-editing and online editing roles for traditional and digital platforms.

Esther joins the team under the leadership of editor-in-chief Laura Swinton. She will be working closely with Laura, the wider editorial team and APAC managing director Toby Hemming to ramp up LBB’s editorial presence and coverage across Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

From July, Esther will spearhead a dedicated local newsletter to highlight the region’s exceptional creative work, along with insights, profiles and opinions. She will soon be joined by a reporter and content editor which will give LBB members 24-hour support and news coverage.
