Ex-Seven veteran launches new industry careers platform

A new innovative career platform, Advertising Industry Careers (AIC), led by ex-Seven national sales director Adam Elliot, has launched today.

AIC aims to connect talent with employers in a “revolutionary” way within the Australian advertising, creative and media industry.

It will provide organisations and individuals with an effective platform to showcase themselves and advertise job opportunities.

Adam Elliot will lead the business as chief executive, after spending 21 years at Seven Network in its sales department.

“Advertising Industry Careers transforms the way professionals and organisations connect in our industry,” he said.

“Choosing where to work is a major decision that impacts people’s lives and can’t be taken lightly. Our aim is to provide a space where candidates can get a really good feel for an organisation before they apply. We’re also providing space for organisations with truly great cultures to show it off – we want them attracting the best people.”

AIC’s first TV commercial, ‘It’s Not Who You Know, It’s Knowing Where To Go’, will be live via Network 10 and Ten Play in the coming weeks.

The platform features four key pillars: Comprehensive employer branding, targeted advertising, focused environments and strategic partnerships.

Companies can promote their employer brand extensively, giving candidates valuable insights into the workplace culture and opportunities.

It also allows organisations to target their job openings to ensure listings reach appropriate candidates. The website features a free career match tool, purpose built for the media and advertising industry to personalise and target the listings.

The platform aims to provide a less busy and more focused environment for candidate exploration, allowing them to spend quality time getting to know potential employers and make more informed decisions.

Meanwhile, to enhance its reach, AIC has formed a strategic partnership with Paramount to attract top-tier candidates and solidify the platform’s position in market.

“Our strategic partnership with Paramount underscores our commitment to bringing together the best talent and the most innovative organisations in the Australian advertising, creative, and media landscape,” Elliot said.

“We’re excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.”
