EXCLUSIVE: Hook Creative Studio lands foundational client

The recently-launched Hook Creative Studio has landed its foundational client, being appointed as the creative agency of record for Wine Wolf, Mumbrella can exclusively reveal.

Wine Wolf soft launched late last year, as a premium Australian wine and vineyard directory, with Hook assisting its hard launch this month.

Hook was tasked in propelling the brand into a new era of growth, starting with a fresh brand positioning and creative platform.

“We’ve been in the trenches, infusing our creativity into the Wine Wolf brand, and now, get ready for the grand reveal,” said Pat Langton, chief creative guy at Hook Creative Studio.

“We’re eagerly anticipating the roll-out of all things creative, a symphony of ideas set to redefine the very essence of the wine industry.”

Wine Wolf founder, Peter Jordan, shared his excitement for the new brand look.

“It’s an incredible feeling to be live and collaborating with the dynamic force that is Hook Creative Studio,” he said.

“They shaped our brand even before our launch, and we’re utterly enamored with the look and feel they’ve brought to Wine Wolf.”

The studio, which officially launched last week, describes itself as being formed “to make creative things that people actually want to engage with”.

Founders Pat and Matt Langton said they are “redefining what an agency is” by combining typical production house models with agency models to “bring a bit of fun back into advertising”.

Pat Langton’s former Magnum Opus Partners’ colleague Mike Allen has joined as chairman, while Matt Langton serves as chief moving image guy (motion graphics).

Wine Wolf has launched on Apple and Android app platforms, with new collaborative work via Hook on the way.
