Travel company Expedia has appointed Reddy Kalluru as director of online partner marketing in the Asia Pacific.

The announcement:

Expedia, Inc, the world’s largest online travel company and operator of the Expedia.com.auTM and Expedia.co.nz websites in Australasia, has announced the appointment of Reddy Kalluru as Director, Online Partner Marketing, Asia Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand. In this newly-created role, Mr Kalluru will oversee the marketing strategies for building brand awareness, revenue generation and customer acquisition along with managing partnerships with key regional media owners and online marketing agencies.

His appointment follows the recent senior management appointments of Dan Lynn as Managing Director, Expedia Asia Pacific, Nicolas Chu as General Manager, Australia and New Zealand and Chris Hann as Retail Manager, Australia and New Zealand.

In his position at Expedia, he will lead the team to driving expansion of Expedia’s online partners, as well as analysing online marketing programs to ensure positive performance of online campaigns.

Mr Kalluru has an extensive knowledge of the online marketing landscape of the Asia Pacific region and brings a wealth of experience to the role having held similar positions for the previous five years, most recently as Director of Online Revenue and Distribution for the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, and previous to that Head of Online Marketing for Zuji.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with the world’s largest online travel company and further cementing the company’s strong position within the Asia Pacific region.” said Mr Kalluru.

Nicolas Chu, General Manager of Expedia Australia and New Zealand believes that Reddy will be a welcomed addition to the team.

“I’m delighted that someone of Reddy’s calibre is joining our team. We see online partner marketing as a key area for the continued growth of our business in the Asia Pacific region,” said Mr Chu.
