Gisella Carr has been appointed CEO of New Zealand’s international production attraction office.

Carr takes the reins from acting CEO Sue Thompson, who was in charge of the organisation since the departure of Judith McCann last August.

Carr’s previous position was as director of funds development at New Zealand’s national museum Te Papa. She is also the  author of a report to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise on the international export potential of visual arts and crafts, and worked as a consultant on delivering an interactive digital wall to the Museum of Copenhagen.
