Finance marketing agency Yell hires Helen Harris as first general manager

Financial services marketing agency Yell has appointed Helen Harris as its first general manager.

Harris previously worked for three years as client services director at ad agency Noble Brands and has held roles at MercerBell, M&C Saatchi, The Brand Shop, RMG Connect and Ogilvy.

Harris will be responsible for managing Yell’s day to day operations in addition to driving new business opportunities.

Nigel Roberts, founding partner at Yell said: “The past year has seen incredible growth for Yell in terms of new and organic business and the time is right for us to ensure we manage that growth while continuing to build the business. Helen is best placed to do that on both counts.

“Her considerable experience will allow us to continue delivering for our clients at a time when the financial services industry is being scrutinised more than ever before and engaging with and earning consumer trust has never been more important. We’re delighted she is joining the team.”

Harris said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Yell at such an important time in its growth. Like our clients in the financial industry, we’re also undergoing a rapid period of development and I’m excited about the emerging opportunities.

“With a focus on customer, creativity and technology, Yell is exceptionally placed to empower the industry transformation and further establish its model as the best practice for engaging customers across the brand experience.”

Yell Creative’s Elizabeth Clark and Nigel Roberts will be revealing the results of this year’s survey of financial services marketers at Mumbrella’s Finance Marketing Summit, which will take place on July 25 in Sydney at the Amora Jamison Hotel. Tickets are on sale now at earlybird discount.
