Fintech innovator Cloudtech Group fills CMO and head of design roles

Cloudtech Group, a fintech company, has hired DST’s Liam Bussell and Ogilvy’s Clydie Matruglio as chief marketing officer and head of design.

The announcement:

Cloudtech Group, FinTech innovator that provides accessible blockchain solutions, has beefed up their marketing team as they gear up for product and service announcements coming later this year.

Cloudtech Group has brought on Liam Bussell as chief marketing officer, and Clydie Matruglio, head of design.

Together, with over 25 years of combined experience, Liam and Clydie are seeking to bolster the appetite for crypto and blockchain, while simultaneously expanding Cloudtech’s reach and growth in Asia Pacific.

Liam Bussell joins Cloudtech and Consensus VC as CMO with a wealth of experience in the technology and financial services sectors. Liam worked for DST (NYSE:”DST”) as head of marketing – Asia.

Clydie Matruglio joins Cloudtech Group after 14 years at WPP Group company Ogilvy. She steps into the head of design role with a focus on building both capability and expertise in-house within the Cloudtech Group.

“At Cloudtech Group our core mission is to build and develop disruptive technologies in Australia for the Australian market. To be able to effectively cater to this market we wanted to build up our local team to the extent that we can effectively engage with the market. Our aim is to increase the velocity and quality of marketing and communications in the short and medium term. Clydie and Liam bring the expertise in-house for us to do that,” said Mandy Jiang, CFO, Cloudtech Group.
