Fiorella Di Santo has joined content agency Medium Rare in the new role of chief operating officer.

In this role she will be responsible for sales, marketing, production, IT and HR across the company.

Di Santo joins after leaving Bauer Media in October 2018 where she was general manager of publishing across fashion, luxury, food and home.

The move marks a return to the News Corp stable for Di Santo. Medium Rare is partly owned by News Corp.

She was at Bauer for two years after leaving News Corp Australia where she spent 20 years across a variety of roles including group sales director.

Gerry Reynolds, managing director Medium Rare, said the appointment would help the content agency continue their plans for growth.

“Fiorella’s unique mix of experience across content, media sales and operations make her the perfect addition to our senior management team as we seek to maintain the continued growth of the business,” said Reynolds.

“Sally Wright and I started the company less than five years ago with a staff of three. We’re now just shy of 200 employees. And, with the recent additions of Jetstar, Bunnings and Chartered Accountants ANZ to our roster, it’s vital that we evolve our management structure to ensure we continue to service our clients above and beyond expectations. We’re very excited to welcome Fiorella aboard.”

Fiorella Di Santo said “I’m looking forward to working closely with the exceptionally talented team of content creators and sales representatives at Medium Rare to help further the development of best-in-class ways to tell stories and reach new audiences.”
