First Look: Seven’s 7Bravo channel coming in 2023

Seven has today released a first-look promo video showcasing reality, entertainment and true crime content from around the world that will be available for free on 7Bravo and 7plus in January 2023.

Seven’s partnership with NBCUniversal will see 7Bravo and 7plus as Australia’s new free-to-air home for Bravo’s programs, launching Sunday, 15 January with seasons from the Real Housewives, Below Deck and Million Dollar Listing franchises to name a few.

Other unscripted series coming to 7Bravo and 7plus include Real Girlfriends In Paris, Southern Hospitality and Love Without Borders.

7Bravo and 7plus will also bring audiences true crime content from Oxygen True Crime, entertainment favourites such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Kelly Clarkson Show, as well as all the red carpet glamour from the biggest awards shows with Live From E!

The new channel will also be the first broadcast home in Australia for reality and true crime content produced for Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service.

7Bravo will join Seven, 7mate, 7TWO and 7flix in the Seven Network, which the broadcaster said will complement the existing hit channels and give viewers and advertisers a new, compelling content schedule.

Seven West Media managing director and chief executive officer, James Warburton, said at the time of launching: “We are honoured and excited to join NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer in creating 7Bravo. With its strong female appeal, 7Bravo is a great addition to the Seven family.”

“Our new partnership with NBCUniversal is a great example of how we strive to give Australians more of what they want. NBCUniversal is one of the leading entertainment and media companies in the world and we can’t wait to bring 7Bravo and its amazing content to viewers,” Warburton said.

NBCUniversal international networks & direct-to-consumer and distribution, ANZ, executive chairman of Bravo New Zealand, Chris Taylor, said: “We are delighted to partner with Seven, to bring Bravo, the ultimate reality and entertainment destination, to Australian audiences for the first time. 7Bravo will be the free-to-air home of binge-worthy and award-winning shows, the best Bravo franchises, E!’s awards show coverage and compelling true crime from Oxygen. Bravo is a powerhouse channel in the US and a successful FTA network in New Zealand; we know Australians are soon going to love being able to access the biggest and best entertainment brands all in one place – live and free, on 7Bravo.”
