Flash seeks head of brand and marketing leader

Foxtel Group is looking for “an exceptional marketing leader” to join its newly-launched dedicated news streaming service, Flash.

Reporting to the executive director, the head of brand and marketing role will be responsible for maintaining the Flash brand, developing content marketing campaigns and delivering subscription growth.

The role seeks someone with a customer-first outlook and a track record of delivering growth in dynamic and highly competitive environments.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop and manage Flash’s communications and advertising strategy, identifying areas to grow the brand as the business scales and competitive landscape changes
  • Plan and execute media, creative and content tasks across marketing channels in line with best practice and overall brand strategy
  • Work closely with the head of planning & ops, head of content, and the Streamotion product, acquisition and commercial partnerships team to deliver consistent and up-to-date marketing messaging through all customer touch points
  • Develop and write creative briefs, and manage creative team(s) on the development of creative assets for campaigns/initiatives
  • Work closely with the head of social to achieve social media KPIs
  • Manage all marketing relationships with internal and external agencies and partners where appropriate
  • Ensure all legal requirements and approvals are met for marketing activities
  • Distribute content to external partners where required
  • Hire, develop and manage the marketing and social team
