Footy Show’s Matthew Johns analysis helps Nine win the ratings night

Last night’s sombre episode of The Footy Show featuring the Matty Johns aftermath helped Nine to a Thursday TV ratings win.

The show rated 1.1m, according to preliminary OzTam ratings, winning its 9.30pm slot (in NRL states).

Thursday night’s share: Nine 29.9%; Seven 26.8%; Ten 21.6%; ABC 16.9%; SBS 4.7%. It was Nine’s first win of the ratings week.
